You Are the Salt of the Earth

In a quiet corner of Lahore near Taxali Gate lies Gora Qabristan, where histories slowly unravel. After my father’s passing, I was drawn to this cemetery of fading epitaphs and shared grief. Through pencil rubbings of gravestones, I attempt to preserve names and textures threatened by time and neglect. This project is an offering to memory where mourning resists erasure and life endures quietly among ruins, caretakers, and forgotten rituals.
